Moving to Germany means learning a lot of new words, and the pharmacy (Apotheke) is often one of the first places where you need them. Product names, sizes and labels are usually in German, and asking for the right thing at a busy counter is not always easy. That is why the Phönix-Apotheke in Hamburg-Wandsbek runs an online shop with an English version: you can browse in your own time, read the details, and then have your order delivered or pick it up from us.
Who we are
Phönix-Apotheke is a local pharmacy at Tilsiter Straße 2, 22049 Hamburg, run by pharmacist Laila Esmaeilzadegan. Our team gives advice in German, English and Farsi. A few German words that help
- Apotheke: pharmacy
- Notdienst: emergency pharmacy service outside normal opening hours
- LSF (Lichtschutzfaktor): SPF
- Abholung: pickup
- Packungsbeilage / Gebrauchsanweisung: package leaflet / instructions for use
- Nahrungsergänzungsmittel: food supplement
Outside our opening hours you can find the nearest emergency pharmacy at aponet.de or by calling 0800 00 22 8 33 (free of charge). In a medical emergency, call 112.
Why order online if you live nearby?
Because it saves time and guesswork. You can compare sizes, shades and ingredients at home, translate anything you need, and then pick up exactly what you chose. This is especially useful for products with many variants, such as foundation shades in Make-up or test strips that have to match your meter.
