How it works
Ceramides are natural skin lipids that sit like mortar between skin cells and form the protective barrier. Many cleansers wash them away; this gel brings three of them (ceramide NP, AP and EOP). Niacinamide supports the barrier as well, and hyaluronic acid binds moisture. Mild surfactants foam up and lift oil and make-up without leaving skin tight.
How to use
Apply a small amount to wet skin, lather, massage gently and rinse thoroughly. Use morning and evening. Avoid the eye area.
Who it's for
For normal to oily and combination skin, face and body. For dry skin CeraVe also offers a creamy cleanser.
Pharmacist's tip
Pairs well with niacinamide or salicylic acid serums. In the evening remove make-up with micellar water first, then cleanse with the gel.
